Well part of it, anyway. Samira did a great job of designing the look of the site. And she is patiently teaching me to use the program -- I am no geek (that would be my son). But I have managed to get a few of the category descriptions up along with scoresheet samples. The rest will be added as fast as I can write them. Wed, May 21, 2008 - 9:29 AMThe new time limits are mainly do to time constraints. In order to not overlap anything Samira had to limit her workshops offered for the Intensive and we had to shorten the times of the contestants.
You guys can do a wonderful new and exciting choreography in 7 minutes, I have faith in you. Asha and Sirens both are pros!!! -

Wed, May 21, 2008 - 11:15 AMYup. Ditto what Janie said. It's hard to turn a 4-day event and a 3-day event into one gigantic 5-day event. Not to mention that the cost for casino convention center space is a premium (although well worth it to have the event in such a fun convenient location with lots of amenities!).
We realize that the time constraints are new, but think of it as consolidating your very best material into a highly impactful routine. I'm sure you will dazzle everyone!!

Sat, May 24, 2008 - 9:54 PMI don't doubt that we could. Honestly, it's not worth the plane ticket for $125-$200 plus hotel for 7 minutes. We don't even drive over to the competition in N. California because it's a 4 hour drive for 7 minutes. -
